Bookkeeper Freelance Agency Team Member
Overview
We can find freelance or contract Bookkeeping opportunities. Now we need Bookkeepers to partner with to help us to help close and do these projects.
Projects are either short term (2-4 weeks but could extend) and part time (10-25 hours a week) or long term (3+ months) and full time (30+ hours). All are remote. Projects generally pay in the $24-$28/hour range (before fees).
Must Have's
- Must have QuickBooks Desktop or QBO bookkeeping experience
- Solid experience in some of the following:
Keep QuickBooks updated regularly
Monthly write up work/reports
Monthly reconciliations
Create financial statements and related financial reports
Ensured QBO is updated and ready for tax preparation season
Quarterly & monthly sales tax returns
Preparation of 1099’s
Running payroll
Payroll returns
Basic tax preparation
AP/AR
- Fast response. Must respond to Upwork messages, emails and calls asap (ideally within 2 hours)
-Must be based in the USA.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Like to Have's
--QBO Certified
- Ability to work 20+ hours/week (ideally 30+ hours)
- Ability to work long term projects (60+ days or ongoing every month)
- Ability to take on multiple clients at any given time

Compensation
75% of whatever we bill the client.
This includes all platform and agency fees.
For example, if we bill $40/hour to the client, you keep $30/hour.
