POSITION TITLE
Business Developer - Business Partner

 

POSITION SUMMARY
Melon Sky Corporation is seeking a key person to add to its team. We are very strong in the recruitment side of the business. We can put together a contingent virtual recruiting team rather quickly and can meet the needs of most clients. What we need is a dedicated business developer. If you can find the business and manage the account on a high level, we can do the recruiting. Working primarily with the Chief Operations Officer, the Account Manager-Sales Business Partner primary function will be to perform the tasks necessary to build new business and manage accounts.

 

WORK ACCOUNTABLE
Responsible for identifying, screening, and developing new business. The Account Manager-Sales Business partner does this through the methods as documented in the Operations Manual as well as their own methods. The Account Manager -Sales Business Partner is accountable for at least the following: 

 

  • Source for new clients. We will count on you to find and develop new clients through your own sources and resources.

  • Work with the client to get a full understanding of the job requisition, client information, the job market and other benefits to adequately screen candidates.

  • Give direction to the Recruiting Manager and Virtual Recruiting team to meet the recruiting needs of the client.

  • Manage the account.

  • Continuously improve the processes and systems to strive for the ultimate goal of creating a franchise prototype for the Account Manager position. This includes utilizing the Business Development Process activities of Innovation, Quantification, and Orchestration. 

  • Other duties as assigned. 

 

LIST OF STANDARDS BY WHICH THE POSITION IS TO BE EVALUATED

  1. Regular as needed contact with the Recruiting Manager and client to discuss status of candidates and to review how current performance is measured on projected performance. 

  2. New Business Development.

  3. Work ethic, commitment, and enthusiasm towards becoming a better Account Manager and a team player.

  4. Progress towards Business Development Process goals.

  1. THERE IS NO FRANCHISE FEE OR COST...
    of any kind required or payable to Melon Sky at any time. The only costs are those that you incur in establishing & running your home office (i.e. computer, internet, phone, fax, copier, printer, etc) in the course of managing the responsibilities of these virtual positions. Melon Sky will never require any kind of money from you for any reason.

     

  2. FLEXIBILITY
    Since you work remotely, you set your own hours. As a Melon Sky Account Manager you will never have to work or answer to a boss. It is recommended that you work only part-time hours at the beginning.Why? because we have to know you and you have to know us. We both have to establish that it is worth continuing the relationship.

     

  3. YOU DO THE SALES, WE DO THE RECRUITING
    If you are good in the sales part of the business, then we can handle the recruiting side of the business. This allows you to focus on what you are good at doing (sales) and you can let us do what we are good at doing (recruiting). This allows maximum productivity.

     

COMPENSATION

We will have to work out some kind of fair compensation agreement based on performance.
Willing to negotiate any other kind of fair compensation including splits or even equity.
